Explore Moe Brooker’s work across Philadelphia on a guided bus tour to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the William J. Green Federal Building, home of his mural The Fruit of the Spirit. At each location, we’ll meet with educators who will share the history of Brooker’s work in that space and help us look closely at its color, rhythm, and spiritual themes.
Presented in conjunction with Listen with Your Eyes: A Moe Brooker Retrospective, the tour offers a deeper understanding of Brooker’s artistic practice and his commitment to sharing his spirit with the city he called home. Transportation from Woodmere Art Museum’s Smith Hall is provided.
