From traditional art techniques like woodblock printing to trending contemporary craft like cold porcelain clay, explore a range of Southeast Asian artmaking across time. This class dives into historically important artwork and the skills behind them, with the opportunity for students to try each approach themselves. Students will use a range of mediums to make their own meaningful, inspired work while also learning about the cultural significance of the respective countries. All materials included.
